Highlights include an early 19th c. painting by Barend Cornelis Koekkoek (1803-1862); a wonderful 19th c. China Trade painting of a British clipper ship flying a Black Ball Line Co. flag; a pair of extremely rare Folk Art needlepoint cats in original decorated frames; two (2) early Folk Art still lifes with fruit, etc. in original lemon-gold frames; lots of early American furniture including a set of four (4) wheat back Hepplewhite chairs; 18th c. carved armoire; New York Hepplewhite mirror with urn inserted finial; folk art painting by Horace Bundy (1814-1883); three (3) miniature China Trade marine paintings in original frames of Cape Town Harbor; campaign desk; three (3) sets of early Regency-period chairs; a fine selection of oriental rugs; American Indian items; good glass and china items.
