Important 19th c. landscape painting by famous Dutch painter Barend Cornelis Koekkoek (1803-1862), fresh from a Camden, Maine estate, purchased in the 1940s, (family information provided), 25x32 oil on canvas; also from the same family – a painting attributed to Thomas Gainsborough(1727-1788), 21-1/2” x 37-1/2” of young shepherd boy walking on a country road with cows, etc., old exhibition label on back “Painting displayed as a Gainsborough in 1879 at the Royal Yorkshire Jub., from the collection of Thomas Wood, Esq.”; rare China Trade Clipper ship painting in original bird’s-eye maple frame, 21” x 26” image size, untouched condition; three (3) China Trade miniature paintings, two harbor scenes with ships, etc. off Cape Town, and one of the U.S.S. Lancaster, paintings are 1-1/2” x 5”, very detailed with original frames; wonderful fresh oil on canvas by William Partridge Burpee(1846-1940), in original frame, soft luminous oil of Rockland, Maine dock with boats, rocks, etc., 20” x 24” image size; oil on canvas painting by Hal Robinson (1875-1933, New Hampshire landscape with woods, stream, etc., 32” x 40”, in original frame; o/b seascape with puffy clouds, etc., 18” x 24” “Buckeye” in original frame; 19th c. o/c of an old man with gray hair and whiskers, 16” x 12”, unsigned, in the style of John Singer Sargent; two (2) small watercolors by Georges Ricard Corningley (1873-1939), harbor scene and boat, 6” x 8”; abstract tempera painting by Gina S. Brook Knee (1898-1982), titled “City at Dusk”; o/c portrait of an artist wearing beret with vivid colors by Abbott Lawrence Pattison (1916-1999), framed, 16” x 20”; o/b by Alfred E. Floegel, 1894 with woods, bridge, etc., 14” x 20”, dated 1922; o/b by Edmund Ketchum, 8” x10” country scene with farmhouse, trees, etc.; o/c painting of the ship John Bertram in original frame, 22” x 30”, signed with an anchor and initials R. J.; framed watercolor (some rough spots) by Paul Dubois (1886-1949), image size is 8” x 10”; two (2) watercolor paintings of flowers by Clayton Bachtel (b. 1916).
