Bronze standing dog by Alfred Barye (1839-1882),
9” tall, original patina; 4” bronze fox with his
foot caught in a trap, 19 th c., unsigned; 40” Buddy
L Aerial Ladder Fire Truck in original paint and excellent
condition; wonderful black duck flying weathervane from
a Maine roof, 33” wingspan, 27” bill to tail; Teddy
and the Bear mechanical bank in original paint; 19
th c. sailor-made shadow box model with heart-shaped
corners, 5-mast schooner, signed by the sailor Harold Hillslad; Maine
folk art carving of Indian with knife and tomahawk fighting
a bear, 12” tall, original paint; pair of 1813
fire buckets marked Elisha A. Folger, fair condition;
a rare example of sculpture consisting of cowboys and pack horses
trailing along a mountainside, signed C. A. Beil, 28”,
the pack horses have elk head, mountain sheep head, supplies,
etc., with a cowboy leading and one bringing up the rear, all
this done in plaster, measures 42” wide x 16” tall.
Also, I have a post card of this Montana Lodge showing this sculpture!
Civil War carbine by W. F. Brooks, 1863, called the “Gibbs” carbine,
in good condition; early Prussian or German leather helmet with
spike top; child’s Steiff pony riding
toy, 25” tall/29” long with original wheels; original
paint curlew stick decoy; Hubley motorcycle
cop cast iron toy in original blue paint; early octagon
barrel musket, poor condition; scrimshawed ivory
page turner with Gibson type girl, Mercury God and gentleman
with derby hat; bronze owl’s head bowsprit tip;
19 th c. fine handmade ship model in need of
restoration; early waterline 6-masted schooner model; two (2)
mahogany quarter boards with preserver from the vessel Adelante;
sailor shell work mirror and dresser box; Mic-Mac Indian
doll swing; Penobscot Indian crooked knife and carved
devil doorknob; Stanley “45” plane with blades; 10
or fifteen good lots of linen, fabric and lace; cast
iron dog boot scraper; 1940’s cast iron rotating lamp with
Niagara Falls; lot of old glass negatives, probably from
the Perry or MacMillan trips to the North Pole; 18 th
c. brass kettle stand; carving set given by Bing Crosby to
Governor/Senator Frederick Payne’s wife Etta; lot of old
molding planes; 18 th c. wrought iron calipers; Victorian checkerboard;
large letter “O” in gold gilt; Meerschaum
pipe in leather case; and lots more!!
