1855 Colt pistol, 28-cal. Root Model (fair condition); Civil War letters written by Augustus Adams to his brother Edwin Adams with details about the war in the Richmond, VA area, 1863-65, also a diary of sorts, etc.; eight (8) CDV photos with Abraham Lincoln and other soldiers; lot with Adams shaving mirror, bullet mold and eating tool; lot with epaulettes, hat badge and braid; U.S. 1864 sabre with scabbard by C. Roby, West Chelmsford, Mass.; Maine discharge framed with Joshua Chamberlain signature; 1884 trapdoor Springfield rifle, excellent condition; also found in the Adams lot was two 19th c. GAR belt buckles with original belts.
