We are pleased to announce this spring auction event to our customers all over the country. This features the Asian collection of the late Lurelle Cheverie Zwart of Camden, Maine. Mrs. Zwart and her parents collected Asian antiques, pottery, early Japanese scrolls, woodblock prints, several tanzu pieces and many other fine Asian antiques during the 1950’s-60’s and 70’s from New York city auctions houses and directly purchased from Japan. The family was very good at keeping records, we have many of the original receipts and descriptions. Some highlights include over 100 fine etchings by Tanaka Ryohei b.1933 each one signed, numbered and titled, we will sell them in several different lots and individually. Also lots of pottery by the famed potter Richard Bennett of Great Barrington pottery, Richard known for the Wooden Kiln brought from Japan in the 1960’s. Also we offer several bronze pieces by Gordon Brott 1932-2008 Camden, Maine including a large spread eagle sculpture. Also included will be other antiques, furniture and collectibles from the Zwart estate and a few others. We are very excited to offer this fresh estate to public auction!!! We will not disappoint you so mark the date on the calendar. Please feel free to call or email any questions and look for more complete details and lot numbers very soon. Bruce
