Bob Spring was a true gentleman in every sense of the word. He was a talented artisan from the finest of scrimshaw, pottery, to artist with a brush. He also was a wealth of knowledge in many military fields. One of his real loves was the collecting of 16 th, 17 th, 18 th century arms, from swords, halberds, knives, daggers, pole arms, helmets and many things related.
