We are very pleased to offer this fresh auction of antiques and collectibles, all from local homes and collections. This auction will feature items and books from the collection of Charles Dana and his wife Kay Gibson. Books are very diverse - from early rare editions to groups of hard-to-find research books, marine history, wars, naval battles, and more. Also several items from the historic Whitehall Inn , including an 18th c. step back cupboard with dentil molding; Hoadley Grandfather clock that stood for years to greet the guests. Other highlights are a rare period Martha Washington spade-footed sewing stand, circa 1790; several good pond models.
