life through letters from (Herbert Swett founder of Lakewood),
Elizabeth Libby Swett, Elizabeth Swett to grant, letters from
Agents, including: Moss Hart, Elliott Nugent, Owen Davis, etc.
Love letters and telegram from Sally Rand (fan dancer), letter
and telegram from G.W. Payne, Rudy Vallee, Violet Heming w/divorce
papers, Paul Kelly while in prison, collection of letters from
Mary (Betsy) Rogers (daughter of Will), also many celebrity telegrams,
actor contracts, Playbills, and clippings. Large lot of scripts
& plays by Frank Morgan aka Grant Mills, some published, some
not. Large photograph collection to be sold as one lot. Early
1900s to 1950s of stage & screen actors and actresses. Some
of the identified photos are: Grant Mills, Jean Davis, Sally Rand,
Vincent Price, Frank Morgan, Mary Betsy Rogers, Owen Davis Jr.,
Keenan Wynn, Hume Croyn, Clark Gable, Ed Wynn, Humphrey Bogart,
Gloria Wood, Helen Hayes, Edward G. Robinson, Violet Hemming,
Basil Rathbone and more! Also cast photos from "Once in a
Lifetime", "Crime", and "Under Fire",
along with others unidentified at this time.
