1886 Winchester octagon barrel 40/82-caliber rifle, Serial # 19717, pre-1890, in good “as found” condition; rare dated 1831 needle-point sampler with Tree of Life design, trees, two Black American figures, snake, signed Maria Clay, 1831; carved early American eagle, 30”, circa 1920, probably Boston original paint; orange and red Bakelite FADA bullet radio; 19 th c. running horse weathervane; 24” carved wood penguin attributed to Charles Hart; unusual hooded cradle with octagon-shaped top, cast iron rockers in original paint decoration; 3-gal. Stoneware crock with blue flower, Plaisted Co., Gardiner, Maine; 19 th c. sailor-made wooden corset stay with inlay; 19 th c. captain’s brass-bound desk box dated 1876; early sea chest with original sailor’s-made beckets, original paint and canted front, circa 1860; early Indian War club with chip-carved handle and Indian face; wonderfully carved hollow Canadian goose decoy, signed Blum; four (4) miniature Alaskan totems; large handmade dollhouse with cottage-style shingles, circa 1890; early Japanese sword with shark skin handle; two (2) rare miniature salesman sample sleds with original paint, 14” and 18” long; Folk Art carved horn spoon with explorer holding a flag with a date of 1809, signed with Andre Hofer, 8” long; 18 th c. wrought iron sheep collar with spikes to protect from wolf attack; Folk Art seagull stick decoy; pair of early decoys stamped A.
