Chad Richards’ Gun Collection

We are pleased to offer Mr. Richards’ collection of 250
antique guns and related items. Chad collected these over his
lifetime in the Camden, Maine area. Working for the Post Office
he hoarded and tucked away this interesting collection over 60
years. Guns include: Colt Civil War pistols;
flintlock rifles and pistols; Sharp’s pistols;
Civil War carbines; two (2) blunderbusses; 1866
Winchester rifle body; 21-lb. percussion pistol with
cannon-turned barrel; 1873,1894, and 1895 Winchester
rifles; Springfield Civil War rifles; and many other
percussion rifles and pistols. Also, we will be offering his
swords which include fifteen (15) swords from
1812-1920, some with original blued blades and local provenance; 50+
antique brass powder flasks and powder horns and pistol
flasks; 1854 Pat. Firearms charger by T. H. Peavey, South
Montville, Maine; Wm. R. Mayberry’s 2 nd Maine
Calvary belt; plus old ammo pouches, U.S., NHSM, Eagle
belt buckles; many lots of ammo with old boxes; brass
cartridges; hand-carved eagle; snowshoes; 8-person toboggan,
circa 1920; 10-foot pair of skis; plus old Colt pistol boxes;
shotgun box; 25+ old bayonets; old gun parts, etc. All items
are directly from the Richards’ estate. NO ADDITIONS!!
