Rare Folk Art airplane weathervane from the Shibles estate of Thomaston Maine, made by officer Fred Shibles N.Y.P.D. officer during 1880's retired to Thomaston, weathervane made approx. 1919-1925 and had been on the barn until we cut it down! I hope you enjoy this "rare" find. Victorian period highly carved walnut shelf clock with turkey, chickens, rabbit, etc., Handpainted 19th Century Masonic lambskin apron circa 1830, Rogers type statue titled "First Love", rare spongeware jar with"prunes" printed on front, German "sult" wall box, Folk Art monkey sign with 2 monkeys sitting on a fence, great 19th Century basket with handles 2' x 1', 5 1/2 ft. handpainted Chinese folding screen with birds, Roseville pottery planter, 10" Roseville vase, 2 Victorian shelf clocks, South West Indian weaving still on the loom, 2 American Indian rugs, 10 x 14 Persian Kerman carpet, Arts and Crafts elephant bookends, wonderful pair of Bohemian handpainted lamps with original cloth shades, 18th century snuff boxes with handpainted tops, several mini paintings on ivory, sewing scissor collection as one lot, several thimbles with 2 gold also as one lot, 24-hole candleholder, ships photos, satinwood tea caddy "as is", ships medical box, good mandolin with case, 3 quality ship's lights, 2 gone with the wind lamps, large chevel mirror "as is", several sets of andirons, brass and iron.
