Maine Governor Frederick Payne (1949-1952), and later U.S.
Senator (1953-1959) to sell at public auction the contents
of his home/office in Waldoboro, Maine along with a very
interesting selection of antiques.
Governor Payne highlights include letters, photos,
and collectibles from his political career along with books
from his office. Also personal photos fishing with President
Eisenhower at the Parmachenee Lake Club.
