We have been selected to sell at public auction the nautical collection of the late Capt. Richard Spear of Rockland, Maine along with other items of interest from his estate, this will be a single estate auction with no additions. Along with the over 25 scrimshaw whales teeth other items include 2 narwhal tusks, lots of boxed marine instruments, maritime book collection, diving hard helmets, 1807 edition on Nathaniel Bowditch Practical Navigator with fold out map, Lighthouse Service Chelsea clock, early harpoons, Naval Officers sword, whalebone walking stick, scrimshaw corset busts, whalebone pulleys, fancy pie crimpers and so much more, this will be an auction not to miss !!!
