John W. McCoy [1910-1989]
We offer seven paintings by John W. McCoy. John married Andrew Wyeth’s sister, Ann Wyeth in 1935. His work definitely speaks for itself. Being taught by N. C. Wyeth and admiring artists like Homer, Eakins, and Cezanne, John developed a strong style of his own - always adventurous and changing. He loved to paint with his younger brother-in law Andrew. These paintings are examples of his work - all from the family.
