shaped top, perfect proportions, inlaid drawer fronts, circa
1760, from the Appleton Seaverns estate; Chippendale
mahogany 4-drawer serpentine front chest, 36.5 ” wide,
31 ” tall, O.G. feet with old brass in original “ as
found ” condition, Islesboro, Maine; two (2) New York Windsor
armchairs signed “ T. Drake N.Y. ” in
original condition with some old repair, finish
is old green bubble paint; rare Pennsylvania
dry sink with green paint panels, unusual construction and drawers
and old finish; 18 th C. Queen Anne highboy with inlay, wonderful
proportions, old brass, restoration to base, circa 1760; early
18 th C. stretcher base oak tavern table with
sausage-turned legs; Queen Anne tea table with shaped
top, circa 1780 original; Hepplewhite 4-drawer chest,
41 ” wide with inlaid top, also from Islesboro estate;
wonderful birdseye maple 2-drawer stand with banded chestnut
inlay on top; Maine old red paint round game table, 1840;
Maine decorated card table with turned legs, yellow, green, gray
smoked top, circa 1840, some restoration but extremely rare decoration; Pennsylvania blanket
box with pinwheel carvings, 1830 painted on back; Hepplewhite
Pembroke table with string inlay; Maine pine step-back
cupboard, old refinish; crusty old one-drawer blanket chest with
red paint; cherry Hepplewhite country card table; Pennsylvania
Chippendale 4-drawer chest, quarter columns, split top drawer;
18 th C. French-carved linen press with old washed finish; English
diminutive mahogany sideboard, 40 ” wide bow-front,
from the Alice DuPont Buck estate; 18 th C. blanket chest with
reeded drawer front; early sawbuck table with drawer; Connecticut
early 18 th C. ladder-back armchair with sausage turnings (low); Chippendale
mahogany server, 32 ” wide - 28 ” tall,
circa 1790; Queen Anne Spanish foot countryside chair; set of
six (6) country ladder-back chairs; four (4) early highly carved
Continental hall chairs; hand painted French style bedroom suite
with twin beds, tall chest, low chest, nightstand, and chair,
all from the Alice DuPont Buck estate, with
label on back; 18 th C. English slant-front desk with French
feet, interior is figured mahogany with leather book columns; Sheraton
one-drawer stand with delicatereeded legs;
fan-back Windsor side chair; Chippendale slant-front desk, 41.5 ” wide,
serpentine front, feet are low; Sheraton 4-drawer chest; decorated
blanket chest; rare mahogany tuck table, circa
1850; centennial candle stand; outdoor furniture includes:
Federal-style cast iron benches with matching chair; grape-back
cast iron benches with matching chairs; 7-piece spring iron porch
set; wonderful bamboo set from the DuPont-Buck estate; other
furniture includes chairs, tables, and decorative pieces.
