We are pleased to offer this collection of rare coins belonging to the late Haynes Graham Preston who collected in the 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s. He passed away in 1981. The collection had been in storage until his wife, Rebecca, passed away this year at the age of 107 years and 10 months. Mr. Preston was in the banking business and loved to collect coins. He spent countless hours through his life on his collection, always trying to upgrade his coins. The condition of the coins is a tribute to his labor of love. Highlights include the rare 1856 Flying Eagle penny and the complete set of Indian Head pennies in mostly uncirculated condition. Other complete sets are: Lincoln cents; early Large cents; Liberty nickels; Buffalo nickels; Mercury dimes; Standing Liberty quarters, and more complete sets. Also hundreds of coins, from a 1799 silver dollar, a 1795 half dollar, an 1804 quarter and more early silver, to rare key date coins from all denominations. We offer this collection totally unreserved. All mention of grading is taken from Mr. Preston’s notes only. Please join us for this rare opportunity to acquire fresh estate coins.
