We have been commissioned to sell at public auction the remaining contents of the Appleton Seaverns summer estate from Camden, Maine. This exciting auction will feature early furniture, rugs, paintings, prints sculpture, glass, china, and some very important items! Along with our usual contents from this prominent Camden estate we have several other fresh estate antiques to be sold in this two-day real auction Some highlights: Portsmouth Sheraton sofa; signed Babe Ruth menu; rare sailor-carved medicine chest; finest enameled Venetian decanter set with jewels in original box; pair of early garden Chinese seats; Capt. Eddie Rickenbacker signed Eastern Airline item; 2 mint condition Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse dolls, 20” tall, from the 1940s; shoe foot chair table; Lyman and Clark ovoid jug; lots of furniture of all kinds! NOTE: Generally speaking, the auction will go like this: Saturday - 300 lots, mostly early furniture, rugs, paintings and items of interest that fit the theme. Sunday - ephemera collectibles, books, furniture of all kinds, Babe Ruth pc., Mickey and Minnie, and all that sort of stuff!!
