We have been commissioned to sell at public auction
the contents of several local estates, including a Monhegan
Island family, a collection of restaurant advertising signs
and country store antiques, a pair of 1920’s American
wooden carved Indians; 18 th c. signed English slant-front
desk; needlepoint Tree of Life sampler (probably
Black Americana); Andrew Winter watercolor of a Monhegan
Island fish shack; 19 th c. horse weathervane; 1st edition
Civil War books; 1886 Winchester 40/82-caliber rifle made
in 1888; just to highlight a few!!
